On this episode I discuss Barshon who is credited with being the first Hip Hop MC from Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City, Queens, New York City USA.

Barson currently tours with Furious 5 MCs and The Sugarhill Gang nationally and internationally.  It's important to write about Barshon to educate our

children and youth that MCing was being done by artists in Queensbridge Houses in the 1970s.
