Yeah so like I said in the past I began rhyming as MC Juiccy E in 1976 on 169th Street and 118th Avenue in SouthSide Jamaica, Queens, New York City USA with my "day one" MC Spunky Dee.  MC Spunky Dee would never get on the microphone at park jams or house parties, but she always pushed through a crowd of dudes at any park jam to say to the DJ, "Yo my girl wanna rhyme."  At age twelve in 1977 we had no fear, hell I practiced damn-near every day with DJ Mike D of the M&M Crew on 169th Street. Excerpt of "A SouthSide Jamaica, Queens Hip Hop Story" by The Legendary Pioneer MC Eva Marie King, MS, est. 1970 As I sat on the corner of 118th Avenue and 169th Street braiding my own hair in connected box braids on those hot summer days, I thought the 70s would last forever.  Being a 10-year-old Black girl in Jamaica, Queens in those days before crack cocaine made a lot of young preteens and teenagers rich, and sent even more to the penitentiary and the cemetery, were the best of times in this first Black middle-class town in New York City. My childhood home sat on an intersection that connected the SouthSide of Jamaica to 118th Avenue and Merrick Boulevard.  As preteens and teenagers walked from 40 Projects (South Jamaica Houses) to the New Park on Merrick Boulevard and Baisley Boulevard for Park Jams, I observed the Savage Skulls and Seven Crowns cut through my block on many occasions, wearing their cut off jean jacket vests, baring their gangs colors and names.
